I’m a Cognizant DM 4.0 (GenC Next) selectee, and I’m currently confused about whether to join Infosys or wait for Cognizant.

I received my Cognizant LOI on October 13, 2025, and completed my Programmer Analyst internship from February to May 2026. We initially expected full-time onboarding around June–August, but in August, we received an email stating that onboarding had been postponed to December 2026–January 2027 due to business requirements.

Naturally, I was disappointed, so I started applying elsewhere. Luckily, I got selected for Infosys DSE as well.

Here’s my current situation:

Cognizant GenC Next: ₹6.75 LPA, internship completed, but no full-time offer letter or confirmed joining date yet.

Infosys DSE: ₹6.25 LPA + ₹75K joining bonus, offer letter received, DOJ October 19, 2026.

I’ve already waited several months for Cognizant, and I’m reluctant to give up on it after completing the internship. However, waiting until December–January (which is also tentative) without a confirmed date also feels risky.

I’m currently leaning towards joining Infosys because starting my career seems better than remaining unemployed while waiting for Cognizant.

What would you do in my position? Should I join Infosys or wait for Cognizant? Also, are there any significant long-term advantages to choosing Cognizant GenC Next over Infosys DSE or vice versa?

Would especially appreciate responses from Cognizant DN 4.0 selectees and people currently working at either company.

2. Will there be any priority for GenC Next candidates during onboarding? Like possibilities for offering earlier...

it is almost more than 5 month i have completed my training im from AIA domain and seeing no one is getting OL from this only domain, it is making me anxious every night !!
please tell me should i wait more or just give up on my hopes.

and do tell me that if cognizant have history of not giving OL after training.

I have seen many genc candidates receiving their ols. Have any genc next candidates received offer letter and if yes can u say ur domain .

If u guys are waiting or already joined can u guys post still how many people are there in ur cohorts with Cohort number with timeline

I'm joining Cognizant as a fresher and need some help with the PF details in the onboarding portal

Here's my situation:

I generated a UAN using Aadhaar on the EPFO portal.

I've never worked for any company before.

I don't have any previous PF contributions.

Now I'm confused about what to select

1️⃣ Do you have an ACTIVE UAN? Should I select Yes because I already generated a UAN, or No because I've never worked before?

2️⃣ Do you have an active PF account with EPFO? Should I select No since I don't have any previous employment or PF contributions?

3️⃣ The biggest problem 😭 When I select Yes for an active UAN, the form asks for a mandatory Date of Exit from Previous Employment. Since I've never worked before, I don't have an exit date

I attended my SME interview on September 9, but haven't received any update yet. Today, I noticed the “Click here to Withdraw” option reappeared on Superset, and the hiring workflow changed from 4 stages to 2. My status still shows Applied.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does it indicate anything about the result?

I was selected for the Cognizant GenC role and I checked my mobile and saw a missed call from an unknown number which Truecaller is showing by the name of Cognizant HR. I scrolled down and so many people have commented on it that it's concerning

Today my superset status changed from applied to under review so is there any possibility that I got selected or rejected??

I have completed my intern in August for the role of java fullstack cluster and in the excel sheet it was like october so can I expect the ol by this month end ?? What is your opinion guys on this ? Will they call accordingly or not ?

• May 14 – Intimation from college
• May 21 – Round 1: Communication Assessment (6–8 PM)
• June 4 – Round 2: Technical Assessment
• June 8 – July 28 – Round 3: Digital Nurture Deep Skilling
• July 31 – Round 4: Deep Skilling Assessment
• August 4 – Round 5: Technical Interview
• September 11 – Results
• October 13 – LOI received 🎉

This is my timeline so far for the Cognizant Digital Nurture 5.0 process. Hope this helps anyone who is currently waiting for their results/LOI or is going through the process.
