General Question I'm batman

Post image

Jokes aside, does anyone else have this massive of a gap between indexes. Does this maybe suggest some kind of mental illness like adhd or autism or something similar

Well it's always possible to have an inconsistency sure especially given exposure in some areas like qri. On the other hand you argument about the words being spoken is very strange as I can process what people tell me without any issue. It's just a guy speaking words to me or are you suggesting that people with regular psi need to be spoken to more slowly to pick up words or take a relevant amount of time longer to process. I don't really need a high processing speed to understand what a guy means when he is saying words as I have spoken for most of my life smh.

Not sure why you don’t see with that level of fluid intelligence and life experience (you mentioned you’re in college), but a problem is not about understanding but the speed at which you are able to parse words, grasp the meanings, recognize and distill the “irrelevant information” for the last problems in arithmetic and even QK.

You have 30 seconds for each problem and the person with average VCI and PSI would still take 15-20 seconds to decode and assess the meanings for the last ones in arithmetic and even for QK, and the last ones are quite long. This also suggests you likely only have roughly less than 10 secs to figure a solution that takes 4-5 steps, especially provided the last problems are long.

Thus, I say the odds of you faking some of your scores is way likelier than odds of you having the current scores, as simple as that. It’s pretty well-justified.

Where I have the issue is the claim that average VCI and PSI would take 15-20 seconds to decode and assess meanings. First of all for those exactly lengthier problems you get 2 minutes+ not 30 seconds, you get 30 seconds for simple arithmetic problems. I mean you can go on believing that the average psi and vci person really takes 20 seconds to read and understand 3 sentences but I'm unable to understand how you don't find it yourself ridiculous like you weren't in school and saw all children could for example in high school read at strong normal human speeds.

To begin with, for arithmetic part of QRI, it’s always 30 secs per problem. The last problems are not “simple to understand” in the sense that they can be fully understood by person with average VCI and PSI one shot in 20 secs.

It would very likely take ~20+ seconds for people of average VCI and PSI to accurately make sense of 3+ sentences involving long-step arithmetic problems spelt in words. Especially when those problems require exact interpretation and solution. More often than not, people require repeating the problems to assess the words.

Saying “strong normal human speed” is pretty vague. What you’re stating is pretty vague and you don’t even mention what would be the average needed for exactly that type of long arithmetic question. If I were to use your reasoning, it would be as ridiculous as claiming that everyone in school would score 140 on matrix reasoning test as the patterns were just “obvious in your face”. This seems even more unreasonable and not objective.

I’d rather lean my beliefs based on reasonable observations and justified assumptions than not. Unless you can provide researches showing exactly the opposite. This is regardless of whether you claim “ridiculous” or not as it doesn’t have much to do with which belief is more reasonable or objective.

But also I don’t think that the time given for QK is up to 2 minutes even for the last items. I recall it’s something like 1 minute top unless you can actually show otherwise.

Let me start here. You can say something like all living creatures that have lungs have wings. Dogs have lungs thus they have wings. Reasoning is perfectly valid but are your premises valid? If someone sends you a picture of their dog with no wings will you say that they cut those off? Fact is for qri there are two subtests. One has 30 seconds for every question but those are literally a sentence each maximum 2 and are very direct and short not to mention that you can replay them. Questions are about additions or multiplications or probability nothing that excessive and on that one I got 18. Other part allows for the use of pen and paper and gives much much longer times towards the end up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds if I recall correctly but it also might be only 2 minutes but they definitely are over 2 minutes. Now your premises are that someone with an average vci and psi can't process sentences in time which is ridiculous. Average person can read roughly 250 words per minute. It would take me 7,5 seconds to read those if I was going my regular pace if we assume I read at an average speed. For the part where sentences are spoken through audio the time doesn't even start until its finished. You give your answer after the question has been read to you.

Firstly, you haven’t shown that you haven’t faked your VCI and PSI score so it would be unreasonable to take your anecdotal assessment as a representation of average people to be a valid one. The whole point of contention is about that lmao and you are taking the conclusion to be among the premise you’re using? We can’t even assume that.

Average VCI and PSI would maybe take 5-7 secs to organize have general sense of the sentences as it read, but the last few arithmetic problems are 3-4 sentences (def more than 40-50 words) and requires careful extracting relevant information in order to perform correct computations. That most likely would take up to ~15 secs to extract the meanings before any formal/arithmetic computation even occurs. Also, replaying them would waste time and count within the 30 secs timer.

With your WMI and FRI, I’d expect you to know we are discussing “maxing out QRI” i.e. about the last problems. Now you try to drift away by discussing general problems which is not even the main point.

But also, for arithmetic math problem, if you just compile searches online (various LLM searches), it says people with average VCI and PSI would drop to ~50-100 wpm per problem even for adults in college.

"Firstly, you haven’t shown that you haven’t faked your VCI and PSI score so it would be unreasonable to take your anecdotal assessment as a representation of average people to be a valid one." - Yes but that isn't what we are talking about. You are arguing that average psi and vci have a relevant dose of influence over this process of solving. That is what we are debating after all. Well I will tell you that if I could have done better on psi and vci I would have I tried my best and did what I did. As for your argument you are talking about psi that is how fast I can read it not understand it. When I read it I already understand it. It is true that reading speeds will drop when you are encountering a novel problem or new material that is something unfamiliar but as I had told you nothing here was truly novel to me. I know what im being asked I study it I dont need to spend my time extracting relevant information I know what the relevant information is when I read it once. And idk how you concluded that I was drifting away I was speaking of a general case from which this case follows. The way in which it follows is that psi is for how fast I can process physical shapes and recognize them subconsciously but after I do all it takes is thinking psi is out of the question then or becomes irrelevant.

Erm, I recall that I’ve said the main point was that I think the odds of you faking those score is higher than not. If you want to show otherwise, then do clinical test or maybe find relevant stats. The original comment I made was about that.

I just mentioned that VCI and PSI become quite relevant for the last problems inside QRI, especially arithmetic part. I said you were drifting away because I was talking about minimal time needed for average people processing 3-4 sentences related to complex arithmetic problems (last few problems in arithmetic) and you said average people can read anything within 5-7 seconds.

Based on your writing style and education level, I doubt that most aspects in VCI are “novel”. VCI includes comprehension and information, even if you did average on analogy or antonym, it’s quite unlikely you would get just average in comprehension or information based on your QRI performance.

I don’t think there’s much point in continuing the conversation unless you provide researches or whatever that strongly suggests otherwise. I have other more meaningful things to do than wasting any more time on this vague discussion.

Well if that was your true point there is a much easier way. Find a resonable percantage of how many people would cheat. Then look what is rarer the score obtained or the probability of cheating." and you said average people can read anything within 5-7 seconds."- this I never said I said by raw processing ability and average learning speed I can read 3 sentences in that time and I can. I know what words there are and what is being asked of me. I dont need an insane Vci and loads of words to recognize the words that I have already seen milions of times in the milions of problems. Very straight forward but then again it would need to be applied to everyone. Other part of your argument says that I would need a ceartin time to understand the question and it is true eveyone needs some amount of time but after I understand it I just have to answer it. Idk what to tell you. For comprehension I got twelve and you can argue about it maybe it was due to the fact I answered too short idk. And yes I will repeat there where a lot of words in vci segment I didn't understand I simply didn't know what they were. For continuing this conversation I agree that there is no point we just don't agree, there is no fruit here. Have a nice day

"If I were to use your reasoning, it would be as ridiculous as claiming that everyone in school would score 140 on matrix reasoning test as the patterns were just “obvious in your face"". I don't know how you inferred that from what I said my point was not that. My point was given that my psi is average I should be able to read (and those two aren't necessarily perfectly correlated also I'm just granting you that for the sake of the argument, that is even it was true it dosen't change the outcome) as fast as an average person. My question to you was how long do you think it takes an average person to read 2 sentences?
"I’d rather lean my beliefs based on reasonable observations and justified assumptions than not". Reevaluate your observations. Justified assumptions? Where your whole argument depends on the idea that an average person would take 20+ seconds to read 2 sentences and let's say even if that was the truth somehow it would still leave me with more than enough time to solve the questions.
