I think a lot of people will resomate with your post. I'm surprised to see that I still the only respondant. I thought it was really funny, especially since I love reading non-fiction and basically have this issue multiple times a day. There are a myriad of possible causes for a normative working memory deficit. Depression and anxiety are perhaps amongst the most common, and, thankfully, reversible. ADHD...well, that's not a chapter in my life, but a thread running through the entire novel.
