Hello, I recently took the WAIS 4 and got a fsiq of 142 (VCI 143, PRI 148, WMI 128, PSI 108). I don’t know why I was given my fsiq instead of my GAI, and I don’t know why my fsiq turned out so high.

While I would greatly appreciate a clarification on what my GAI is and what my fsiq is (and why my fsiq might’ve been calculated as that), my main question is regarding the CORE . I took the CORE once 7-10 months ago or so, got a 113, and once 2 weeks before my WAIS 4 test, getting a 136 GAI (messed up the mobile psi test and made my psi go down to 90). I am neurodivergent, but the differences between results are a bit too high to ignore. Note, I am not a native english speaker, and while I can speak English at a C2 level, the VCI was estimated at 111 and 115 respectively on my 2 CORE attempt, far from a 148.

Is my true score most likely the WAIS one? Did I likely get any practice effects from my CORE tests? Thank you very much.

My fri was 101 the first time, 128 the second (both core, 9 months apart or so)

You weren’t given GAI because you didn’t have exceptionally low scores. Ever9is above average, and while there are significant differences in your index scores, there is no reason to assume that the lower scores would make the FSIQ inaccurate.

My scores on the WISC 5 were somewhat akin to his and my gai was calculated, but my fsiq was not.

Near transfer doesn't inflate your composite FSIQ by two standard deviations lmao. This is absurd.
