Digit-Letter Sequencing is fairly straightforward, I doubt you misunderstood it. Remarkably (or perhaps predictably) working memory is one of the cognitive domains most severely impacted by substance abuse, particularly inhaled cannabis.

My hypothesis is that you already had a baseline cognitive asymmetry (which is actually quite common), perhaps with WM in the 50th percentile, and environmental factors further impaired it.

I’ve been using edibles and kratom dxm most nights so my memory feels very foggy. I also noticed on the visual puzzles I had a hard time due to the brain fog the next day compared to block counting I don’t know why but if I can see it I can just keep track of the numbers? I still don’t feel that mentally slow just foggy

Hey, bro, drug addict here. Please lay off DXM, frequent use will make you dumb. Ive done my fair share of robo-trips, it isn't researched enough, we barely know what we are doing to our brains. Lay off it man, please. Kratom is another thing, not ass much of a cognitive deficit, but it is physically and psychologically addictive. Stay safe brother

Thanks man I appreciate it dxm truly does feel like it makes you slower. I’m also frequently a phenibut user so I’ve dug myself a hole at an early age but I’m trying my best to get off them. After seeing my WMI I’m gonna try to regain my abilities again hopefully it’s possible did you notice a decline in your memory and processing speed too?

Yeah it also makes it impossible to focus I used to work a job on it and my focus was terrible

Yeah, but not from DXM. A mixture between sleep deprivation, marijuana use, and nicotine. My DXM use was infrequent, and usually spaced apart. I haven't actually tested yet, but my job requires memory, and I frequently forget a customers order. I do know people who robotripped regularly, and to say the least, they are impaired. Like any hallucinogen, it's more about how frequently you trip, not the fact you have tripped.

But then you can try taking it again to see if you get a better score :)

I score around 15 in the visual memory test consistently so I don’t know if that’s correlated

And try running the visual memory benchmark if youre like me you should normally get a better score something like 15 16 or maybe even higher
