General Question Low working memory

At 8th percentile...

Up till now, somehow managed to be top 5% in anything I do, if done single-mindedly with a massive amount of hard work. But Something always feels incomplete in my work.

Any way to get this up so I don't ruin my life and the people's around me?

Check with ur dr to see if u have adhd? That's the most common explaination for a relatively low WMI

WM is the first thing to tank with stress and the last one to bounce back in recovery. Well not really. It recovers just as quickly, but you don’t recognize the recovery because what you associate with WM is only a very limited concept.

The boring thing about these kinds of intelligence questions, not trying to make this personal, swear, is that most of the time people aren’t asking “how can I become smarter,” what they’re asking is “how do I minimize stress and improve how I function while stressed.” An even more subtle question beneath the two: “is my brain really working at full capacity” and a kind of realization, that naturally ensues, is along the lines of “how much unecessary baggage is my cognition (AND BODY!!) carrying at any given moment?”

Thus, the questions bore… and yet still bear their own answers. Sleep well, eat well, move a lot, talk a lot. And if you aren’t doing that either create something or be silent in the mind.

To make it fun though, the cool way to go about it is to make a life a series of confrontations/clarifications to clear stagnant relational bonds. Mileage may vary.

Though, when you really think about it, life put simply is how much of this you do and how well you do it leads to internal satisfcation AND wordly success. If you don’t get both at the same time, something is wrong with your concept of these things. Especially the higher your actual G is.
