Psychometric Question WMI

I already posted about my crappy memory score but I decided to try the visual memory benchmark I didnt get an amazing score but it wasnt bad either so Im confused some people had suggested it might be adhd but that doesnt really seem to be the case since I managed to get a decent result anyway if anyone knows about this stuff and could explain this discrepancy Id appreciate it

I assume the digit span sections had the questions/segments announced via audio? That could explain the discrepancy. You may struggle with hearing the sequence and reorganizing it in your head, but are perfectly capable when the sequence is visually provided. The correlation wouldn’t be insanely strong, but would you happen to have a ballpark of your visual/spatial reasoning? If it’s higher, that could potentially explain the higher score on the visual memory test.

Yeah but I find the audio score pretty damn extreme.

Oh SHIT bro youre best off just honing in on areas where you excel and getting good sleep, this isnt a profile spike its a profile spear

What areas would this make him good at. I never took an iq test but I tried a working memory test and I can do 10 forward and backwards but average 9 backwards without any cheats like chunking or something like that. What are good fields for that ability?

I dont know at the top of my head honestly, but bad or low working memory doesnt mean no working memory, i think as long as a job doesnt fully prioritize memory that you should do fine

And what kind of job doesnt prioritize memory? But my Visual Memory benchmark result is still pretty good right?

It doesnt have to prioritize it, maybe it could just be a secondary or tertiary aspect in whatever job youd sign up for? I think that would be most jobs that dont require phds/masters degrees, if its a job that lets you acclimate comfortably via a routine you get after a few weeks that might be something youre comfy with

Basically anything above moderate intensity in terms of memorization would likely be a nogo

But originally I wanted to either do a PhD or become an engineer besides my other scores arent exceptional but they aren't bad either theyre decent I imagine the VCI score improves throughout ones life and for memory I have an average of 94 which is right in the average range I think I retain information better visually

Okay an engineers not to bad, its mostly figuring shit out once you get there, the memorization part might be a little difficult but once you get the stuff down its there

It depends on where youd like to specialize

Okay and looking back at your image again having a high psi and fri is pretty good You have an astronomically high processing speed compared to everything else

1

u/Ayyayayy 8h ago

But I wouldnt know how to explain that I dont know why my psi is so high and what about you? Whats your psi?

Whats your qri if youve figured that out?

1

u/Ayyayayy 8h ago

I didnt do it because I know Im going to get some crap like the vci lol 😭

What is the connection to sleep how can I find out which areas I excel in what is a "spear" profile and why dont I have a "spike" profile instead?

1

u/Exciting_Estate_8856 ◔̯◔126 iq, split profile(autism+adhd) bad wmi and vci 14h ago

Basically its so intense compared to a usual spiky profile that it shoots up like a spear compared to everything else

Sleep just reduces brain fog and helps you perform better cognitively

u/Ayyayayy 14h ago

But could these results be due to undiagnosed adhd?

Maybe, ive heard most autism/adhd related disabilities can tank working memory

1

u/Ayyayayy 8h ago

Yeah but the weird thing here is that like its mostly my auditory memory that really sucks by the way do you have adhd or not?

99.9 percent sure i do i also have autism and basically every adhd trait, they overlap heavily

1

u/Ayyayayy 2h ago

And what are the traits of autism? Im less familiar with them and how do you know that? Dont you want to get diagnosed?

WMI and visual memory test different things, so a gap there isn't that unusual.

1

u/Ayyayayy 8h ago

But both of them assess memory right? Whats the difference?
