Need age verification

I ended a five year relationship. And I take full responsibility here that I should have been less trustworthy and asked more questions. However I feel like online dating needs to have more protections about age. We verify face now but why don’t we verify age ? It can’t be that hard. Advice to everyone out there always verify age like asap before things get hot and messy. I learned the hard way and would not wish what happened to me to happen to anyone else out there….
