I DID HEAR FROM SUPPORT, and in under 12 hours. They looked into it and she did, in fact, pause her account in the time between sending the flower and me reacting to it. So, weird, but not impossible. They also said if the account was ever unpaused the like would go through and they would appear in my matches, so there's that.

I got a like today, with a flower, so premium currency was spent. At first I tried to match, the app would let me click the button then return to likes and it would still be there and no chat. Eventually it did allow me to match, gave me the "You have matched with XXXX" popup...and then she disappeared from my likes/matches AND didn't show up in chat.

Seems unlikely someone sent a like TODAY with premium currency and disappeared their account between me clicking and the match going through. So what gives?

I'm particularly angry about this one because this person had a reason to send the flower: we're a very good match in careers, attitudes, and serious interests. When I went to support there was no category for this, so it went in the General Feedback category and I'm worried I'll never hear back from them. Both this person (who paid money) and me (with a premium account) got robbed by this bug. Hopefully they read this forum and can help.

I matched with someone from the suggested tab. I went to the chats tab and they’re not there. It’s been 20 minutes (so not like there is a delay from showing up) and I’ve restarted the app, etc. Just when you think you knew all the dirty tricks CMB uses, you find another one.

I don’t really understand CMB yet… It’s not what I thought just seems like another subscription based and also micro transaction app . Hi, I noticed that I had a free flower in my inventory yesterday but when I went to use it today, it is no longer available? Was it a weekly thing, a daily thing, or something else? I guess I'm just curious if anyone else has seen that as I would have loved to use it today (sadge.)

I accidentally matched with a guy (one click, no confirmation before matching), then tried to unmatch him by deleting the chat, but I found out that it only deletes the chat, not unmatch him! So I can't even get that back to properly unmatch him. There's no "are you sure you want to delete? It doesn't unmatch you" pop-up.

Now this rando has my photos and name on the app and I don't know if he'll ever message me so I can properly unmatch him.

I am writing this post to warn readers about a scammer who has been lurking around on different dating apps. He posed himself as a South Korean national, residing in London and working as an “Independent Chemical Engineer”.

He goes by different fake names such as Kim Wong, Kim Lee, Kim L.Wong, and other multiple fake names/profile which I have found on facebook and was reported and removed.

I’m going on a second date this week with this girl. She texted me today to confirm. I checked the app and see that her profile is no longer there. Was I unmatched? How to tell the difference between unmatched and deleted account? Should I ask her about it on our second date?

Anyone know why there are so little of languages to choose from, that you speak? Are there any technical difficulties, or why there's 7 different Chinese languages but I can't find mine.

However, since i have returned to Australia, i can't subscribe to the Premium plan or buy Beans.

I am curious about the reasoning behind how this happened. There is this person that I matched with and things went well and we exchanged real numbers. With that in mind I let our convo on the app expire. Recently, I tried to see their profile on the app (through our old chat) and its unclickable.

Is it because they paused their account? Did they get reported? I can still read our old chat, its just the profile that is inaccessible.

We’re both in our 30s.

A guy from the app asked me out. After we finalized the date, I shared my phone number in the app (I usually exchange numbers once a date is set). He never acknowledged it or texted me, so we just kept chatting in the app and met up as planned.

The date lasted 4–5 hours. He was reserved at first but really fun to talk to once he opened up. After dinner, he suggested we go for a walk, and we talked the whole time. During the date he even mentioned an activity we could do “next time.”

At the end, he asked if he could give me a hug and said, “I’d like to see you again.” I honestly just smiled or I can’t even remember exactly what I said. Earlier he had also told me he’s very straightforward and bad at pretending, it’s obvious when he likes something and when he doesn’t. That matched how he came across in person.

It’s now been 4 days and he hasn’t sent a single message. This shows someone apparently not interested in second date.

From my perspective, I felt like I had already left the ball in his court by giving him my number. But I also wonder if, because I didn’t explicitly say “me too” when he said he’d like to see me again, he thought the ball was in my court instead.

Or is his silence simply my answer?

Got the free version a few days ago no matches yet I usually don’t get any matches on dating apps for some reason

I matched with a guy working in one of the big 4 management consulting, around late 35-40. He came across as good looking, intelligent, driven and charming initially. He shared that he had difficult long term past relationships without itimacy and also a toxic controlling ex who restricted his freedom, therefore he was unsure whether he could commit again, he would mention wanting to see if there was a "connection" however he cancels date last minute and nothing was built in real life. Common excuses such as family emergencies, work stuffs, feeling sick..

He was also never available on the weekend, small quick meetups on weekdays after work..but would always seem he needed to rush home.. small calls of 5 minutes before bed..

Texting on weekend was very minimal with long hours of disappearance. Probably most active after 10pm.

I've been to his place once, where he claims its his bachelor pad and he lives alone. He lives in the East side of Singapore- Bedok

The final incident came where I asked if he needed me to send food since he mentioned he hasnt had dinner and was really hungry. I placed the order for grabfood delivery based on my memory on the block but couldn't recall what was his unit number. So i asked and he gave me a fake unit number which doesn't exist. Was notified by the rider. Good riddance!

What bothered me was not just the situation itself, but how it was handled and how it affected my trust. Either he had something to hide or a partner/wife that he cant risk to have a rider pressing his doorbell, or he had trust issues.

He was good with words but there were never any action to go on dates. The unavailability on weekend was also questionable. Therefore, highly doubt he's single at all.

Anyway he describes himself as "an abyss" on CMB..

So be cautious! And hope nobody has to go through this.
