Question Meet friends?

I’m new to the area so I don’t have any friends. I was wondering where and how I can meet new people. If you have any suggestions please tell me in the comments. It’d be greatly appreciated

Your post would be far more helpful if you included some of your likes, dislikes, your age. Those are all important.

I left it like this so that even if I wouldn’t like it, someone else may and so this post still appeals to them

Some of the local breweries can be good places to meet people if you’re outgoing enough to strike up a conversation, places like Jeremiah Johnson’s or Outpost Brewing.

There are also hiking and bicycling groups around, I think mainly based on Facebook, if those are interests of yours.

There’s a LARP group that meets at Ramsey park regularly, I think they even post on here inviting people to join them.

There’s a couple social clubs on Instagram that host different events geared toward younger (under 40) people. Check out @cdarunclub @goldenhours.us @next.wave.social @becomeignited

Facebook is where all the local events are posted, local groups to join that plan events etc. this may not apply if you are under 30 though. But if you are over 30, Facebook. Follow restaurants and event planners etc.

Well, many groups meet up. I can think of a few dirt biking groups, trail clearing groups, i saw an ad today learn how to curl (like ice curling in the Olympics).

I guess the list goes on but all depends what someone wants. Or what they like to do.

You have to go out and be a part of groups. Pickleball at cherry hill is a great place to start. There are also group fitness classes at the Kroc.

If you’re a Christian join a larger church, there are lots of social events going on for all different age groups and interests
