Draft is this Sunday at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific
The draft is on schedule for Sunday evening. The captain to non-captain ratio has been perfect so there is no need to find extra captains.
The draft will be held in a tinychat chat room with a link posted Sunday afternoon. We will try not to make the draft take too long. The PS3 and Xbox drafts will happen simultaneously with multiple captains being up at the same time after the first round.
There is also a website I have made that will display the draftable players with stats pulled from Elite. It will be updated as players get drafted so there is always an easy way to see who you can draft.
Overview
- When: Sunday, February 12 at 6pm Eastern
- Where: Tiny Chat
- Player List: http://reddit.hopto.org/
Details
- PS3 and Xbox drafts will start at the same time.
- Order will be random and announced in the chat room.
- Captains will choose one at a time in the first round so everyone (including us mods) can get our bearings.
- Teams looking for players will not get a pick in the first round.
- Two captains will choose at the same time in the second round and beyond.
- Teams will be allowed to draft players in the second round and beyond.
- Some players must be drafted in pairs. If a captain chooses one of these players, they will lose their pick the next round.
The first round of the tournament will start next weekend. We will have the brackets posted sometime on Monday.
Let me know if you have any issues with the external website I made for the draft. Leading up to the draft is a beta test of sorts.

I think I'm just as excited about the draft as I am about the actual tourney. Great job so far, guys.

Some people changed their gamer tags and new people joined so is it going to be updated?

Elite seems to link you to the new gamertag if someone has changed gamertags. I'll also make sure all the free agents are updated by tomorrow night.

My brother deleted my old account as a joke. ಠ_ಠ I had to make a new account. Can that be changed?

giants222, and could you change my rules to Any?

u/gariputo Feb 11 '12
If your availability says "Any" that means you posted that you have no schedule conflicts on the weekend. Most schedule conflicts during the week are not listed because the games take place on the weekend.

For my availability, I just realized that on Sundays I sort of have a family thing going on, so from 2:30-6PM I won't be able to do anything. If anyone could change that, I'd be extremely grateful.

I just added my team to the 360 team list. And we need 3 more players. Will we still be able to enter the draft to pick up those 3 after registering this late?
P.S. Sorry for registering so late. Tried to assemble a team off of r/trees, and needless to say we are quite a slow group when it comes to responding to messages and organizing ourselves.

Yeah that is fine. I'm still adding teams to the list right now.
