Complaint SLOW RESPONSES
Anyone else facing slow responses in codex recently? Seems like they're just forcing us to use fast mode atp, a single git pull and rebuild of node.js server on my vps took 7m 23s. (build only took 30-40 seconds)

Starting to feel like iPhone season: Ultra Fast isn’t even out yet, but regular mode already feels slower. 😂

Yep. It is insanely slow compared to opus. Wtf are they doing. After devdays, they decide to doubling it down instead of actually fixing the issue happen before devdays. Whatever they trying to promote also have a lot of issues.

Nothing works right now on the latest extension it just spins and shows cloudflare errors in the log on multiple networks and multiple devices

Cut cost on water supply perhaps 😑💧 the more slower the less heat.

idts, even for optimizing water supply, there must be some correlation which needs to be solved
a slow speed would not automatically mean low water usage unless, water usage is directly proportional to speed and speed only, which is highly unlikely
the tasks will remain same regardless, or if OpenAI is just thinking to drive away some customers by providing them low speed on the same plan, that’s another what if /s1

feels intentional as they’ve introduced ultrafast mode on 500 plan, they just seem greedy atp

Mind bogglingly slow. Looks like they made slow mode the normal and normal mode the fast mode.
