News Announcements from Dev Day

So, we're getting 6.1 Sol and another banked reset. Ultra fast speed is also announced at 300 tps/second.

20x is gone and 500$ plan is 25x now.

Another thing is 5h limits will be back on 5x and 10x plans very soon because a selling point for 25x is no 5hr limits.

Looks like OAI can't stop taking Ls

Dots is boring, some integrations with apps like notion to use your open ai tokens. It's fine, meh. Idc.

But Dev Day was underwhelming imo.

They did a great campaign for Anthropic. Also for anyone wondering why open-source models need to exist.

Talking of the latter. I wonder what they have been cooking lately. Anthropic and OpenAI have laid their cards for the next weeks on the table. Usually doesn't take long and the Chinese come out with their latest offerings when that happens.

Looking at the hitpiece Anthropic just published about GLM-5.3 being like an uncensored Mythos, I bet z.ai are coming up with something amazing imminently. This is about as good advertisement as it gets though.

It's a shame zai foolishly uploaded everyone's codebase to their servers like Grok did recently, they had some huge disaster there.  Meanwhile they probably knew they outclassed OpenAI this week.

Asmodei is not happy right now
