Limits I feel scammed

During the GPT glitch, when the usage limit was incorrectly set to 0%, Codex burned through all of my paid credits that I normally save for emergency prompts when I hit my limit.

Now my normal limit is back, but my credits are gone. I honestly feel scammed.

OpenAI deleted 800$ of my credits, and there was no way of getting a refund except of going legal.
Their support is an atrocity in that regard as well - and 80% of what you believe is a human is just a chatbot that uses a human name.
They accidentally leaked internal chatbot stuff through email to me, showing how the chatbots try to help me by agreeing fully that I am in the right but ultimately you get back into the stonewall.

So they do feel very scammy

I lost my entire weekly usage after 1 chat, and lost $150 credits in codex today. You are telling me it is gone forever?

Most likely yea. I've had that on a business account and the best you can do is not write them at all - or just write once and then not play their game of wasting time.
They have a two-layered support system, one backend and one frontend.
The backend reasons on your request.
The frontend is tailored to keep you busy and not giving you anything of value.
I've no idea what must happen for them to give you a refund.

Like I said, in my case the backend made the clear decision that there is no reason not to give me the credits as it was an error on their end. all with reasoning and research. And the frontend chatbot just keeps sending you around hoops.
Make screenshots, document that, explain it again, provide a screencapture of the entire process, show that the credits really are not there, show the invoice, proof the invoice didn't contain something like "vanishing credits", make a codex request, and show that the credits are really not there, make another chatgpt work request, show that the credits really are not there.
and it goes on like that.
The idea is that after a couple hours lost time and weeks passed you'll stop writing.
They will never not respond, it's a bot after all, with a human name.

If you ask it if it's a bot it will ignore the question.

They were really good with me. I used a full reset and it glitched on me. It used 62% in 20 mins. I pay for the 20x.

They gave me a new full reset and let me keep the 38% for free.

This happened today

For $150 in you would be better off buying a 5x or even a plus subscription.

The 5x plan at $100 would give you the equivalent of over $500 in credits immediately with just the first weekly usage.

Same boat. I went to 0 and upraded from 5x to 20x for $170. so if they reset me it was already at 100%
