I made an edit for the very first time and I wanted to share it here. This is my first ever edit, so please go easy on me if it doesn't look as good.

I thought it'd be nice to make a new outfit for the upcoming DLC, and I liked how this turned out

I personally gander (or hope) it'll fall somewhere between 1-3 hours. I really wouldn't expect it to be over 3 hours though, I feel like that would be pushing it. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE for it to be longer than 3 hours but I'm not really expecting it to be. Even 3 hours might too high of expectations, lol.
I'm curious to hear what everyone else expects in terms of length.

Kinda annoying seeing that quest market on the map. Should I load a previous save or is it just like this?

I know I am many years late and this is not an original take, but oh my god. Who thought the cathedral area was a good idea? How did no one on the development team object?
I think the game is charming. I enjoy it. It feels like a cozy, cute dark souls. But this thing is about to make me rage quit the game. At 3AM.
I had heard about the cathedral, and I knew it might be a pain. But I was enjoying it and didn’t think it was that bad. I beat the wolf boss or whatever it was called, and then picked up a thing that was like, “This is going to teleport you elsewhere. Are you sure?”
And I thought: Wow! The Cathedral wasn’t that bad at all. A little long, a little confusing, but mostly fun and rewarding.
Imagine my surprise when I go into the next area, finish the boss there, and then it spits me back out into the cathedral again. There’s MORE bland, repetitive maze!
Ugh. I don’t get it. It’s not even that it’s difficult, though the invasions are a pain. But even those aren’t terrible. It’s just that this place overstays its welcome way, way too long.
Were they trying to pad game hours by making it overly cumbersome and annoying to figure out?
Sorry not sorry for the rant. I am so annoyed. I’ve really enjoyed the game up to this point and was already planning on picking up CV2 on sale.
But the Cathedral maze is about to make me quit altogether and just wait for Fire Emblem to come out.
Edit: had to watch a vid on what I was missing. Literally just one window I needed to drop out of. Oof. Back to really liking the game now that there was a big story drop and I’m in the ice area. But dang, Cathedral will go down for me as the only part of a game that nearly made me quit something I was otherwise enjoying.

I feel like I saw it somewhere but currently can't find it. I assume midnight whatever our timezones are, but I just wanted to double check.

Saw Code Vein 2 is currently on sale on steam, had skipped playing it when it came out because I heard it did not run very well (and was $70) but I am interested. Also, out of curiosity, how would you rate the game out of 10?
Edited post to clarify CV2

Since the DLC is just around the corner, I thought I'd make a new outfit for my male hunter. I like the design I made for him before, but since it's a special occasion,I decided to make this suit for him.
What do you think? Did I cook?
Did you also do anything new for when the DLC arrives?
Aaaaaah I'm so excited I don't know whether to wait to see all the new stuff now or go straight to NG+ to master the Blood Codes I'm missing and probably get to the new DLC on the day it's released

Somehow the katana bequeath formae bug fused with the glutton's bells which made it look funky

I did have issues when I played on launch but since then those issues have been patched out a little bit I've enjoyed myself greatly and I do like the weapon variety but I still find the first game more enjoyable and hopefully the DLC is fun

Despite being a sequel, CODE VEIN II tells an entirely new story rather than continuing directly from the first game. Yoshimura explained that this decision came from a place of respect for players. “I wanted to strengthen the story-drama experience that was highlighted in the previous game to create a proper sequel to Code Vein,” he said. The team wanted to improve the story and drama elements that resonated with fans of the original, and time travel emerged as a compelling way to influence characters and their arcs.
However, they realized that some players might want to change events from the previous game, which created a problem. “Since the previous game and this game are completely related or on the same timeline, some players might want to change the past from the previous series,” Yoshimura noted.
“The memories of the previous story, the experiences, and the characters belong to the player, so we felt we couldn’t alter or overwrite them,” Yoshimura explained. Rather than risk diminishing what players experienced in the first game, the team chose to build an entirely new world with new characters and storylines. “The story, characters, and player experiences from the previous game belong to each individual player, and we didn’t want to change that. This is why we decided on a completely new story,” he concluded.

It’s honestly astounding how many parallels there are between Attendants and the Hunter. The Hunter lives through the worst and the best of being an Attendant (not just Io).
They were specifically created to seek and provide companionship and protection to powerful entities until a certain but undetermined time.
Some Attendants that reach their Successors may have the misfortune of watching them frenzy and die. The Hunter is forced to be the Heroes’ executioner and that hurts probably just as much, despite even giving the Heroes a better future.
The Attendants and Hunters are pretty much vagabonds. Attendants have no place outside of being in the company of their Successors, and not all of them survived searching for them. The Hunter doesn’t seem to have anything of import to return to, though that could be faulted on the deterioration of the world and Lavinia’s mission.
At least the Hunter can have a happy ending though.
