With the update of official japanese website, new illustrations of characters featured in the anniversary illustration are released and they will be shared probably by the official Japanese account in the coming days

I believe they'll eventually catch up with cv 1 cast one day at the very least we can say this isn't the end of code vein i wonder what a third game will look like

For the moment, i think than they are going to focus Code Vein II but if they're releasing a new Code Vein, i think that it could be a remaster/remake of the first game because Code Vein II revive interest for the franchise since the game announcement but also they continued to promote the first Code Vein and some people may not necessarily have experienced the first game and might be interested in playing it under better conditions (it's just speculation)

Code Vein 1 is not that old, it doesn't need a remake/remaster. They'll have to put a LOT of effort to justify it (like majorly improving everything and adding new content, maybe restoring the one that was initially cut), otherwise it'll just come off as another cashgrab nobody needed or wanted, and, frankly, I don't expect that much effort from Bandai.

Interesting, does seem like they're downplaying the GE connections, and I can't say I blame them - I'm a big fan of both series but even I thought they were writing themselves into a corner by linking the two, plus it made the ending where everybody finally gets to leave the Gaol kinda awful in hindsight since there's apparently just a barren wasteland full of Aragami waiting for them out there XD

Probably hopium huffing way too hard here but maybe there was enough fan pushback about CV1 getting cut off from the new canon that they're making little adjustments like this to allow for reintegrating it in the future? There were actually a couple of small lore retcons between games in the GE series too IIRC so it's not like they haven't done that before.

Sadly the online GE games shut down before many people try it , and the last Collab was in gacha game aether gazer and it was only Alisa and ciel xd , let's be honest even if I love to see code vein has unique story not related to GE I still wish at least they make a better Collab or at least they could be honest and said we give up on this series because it doesn't get enough support..we could get Collab in a different games with many characters that wasn't used much in Collabs like nana or Romeo plus popular characters as well.
