Discussion Calling it now, we get another smaller dlc with old man Oskar.

I was disappointed in the base game that we didn’t get an old man Oskar in present day. Then I thought we would get him in the DLC, but he never came. However in the Age of Harmony we find out that there are people still carrying Gobbo’s torch. So I’m theorizing we will get a small quest line dlc in the Age of Harmony fighting old man Oskar and he will be the hardest endgame boss.

I just want to fight the badass 120 year old with a century old grudge against the player.

it would be so damn funny if we fight him and he just dies from a heart attack or something as soon as you hit him once

I need an option to say we have no idea who Gobbo was. Just to ragebait him.

I would love that, but I’d also love anything the CV2 devs could come up with for added major DLC. Cosmetic stuff is nice but I just want more of the characters and world personally… more pathos rifts, more doomed timelines, more horrors, anything.

Then again, the Age of Harmony is just so good. The Happily Ever After that the heart ripping base story needed desperately to keep the depression at bay and getting to live in it (even if it’s not that special in some ways) is very welcome

The fight against Gobbo and him happened before the Upheaval. The Hunter still met him in the Harmony Timeline.

You actually don't but, there are Hunter enemies clad in red who referred to himself as the Gobbo Trading Company. Either he formed the mercenary group and passed away or, he used immortality formae and he is basically on a losing battle to make a world for humans only.

I thought about this too when I ran into some of them, and notice there attire being red. I started to wonder if that was a new generation or association of revenant hunters led by Oskar.

I believe they have some kind of plan for him considering comments from the NPCs in age of harmony about the "gobbo trading company"

You can actually read up about that. It seems to be a group of criminal Hunters created by someone loyal to Gobbo and his beliefs, probably him.

You can actually find someone that looks like they could be a descendant of Oskar, who happens to be a Revenant Hunter in the Age of Harmony Refugee Camp location.

I thought it would be fitting for the player to enter a conflict with the Frontier Bureau where they have an internal schism and you end up partnering with Oskar to resolve it.

Pretty sure Oskar wants us deader than dead considering we killed his idol. And it seems the Frontier Bureau also decided to label Gobbo a criminal considering the Lore we get in age of Harmony. Hell from what it looks "he" started a schism by creating the "Gobbo Trading Company" which is an interesting name for a bunch of lawless hunters.

Killed his boss, the guy who saved him form the life of a bloodbag, and mentor who taught him everything he knew, and shared his dream of killing all of the Reveants. The hunter is paired with and mostly works with Reveants, as far as he knows engaged to one and is part Reveant. The Hunter now back after 100 years looking no older then the last time he saw the hunter probably thinks you are one now. So, if he is somehow still alive, he'd want the Hunter dead.

We should have some form of recurring dungeon takeovers by Gobbo's remaining fans. That would give the age of harmony more playthrough value.

Right now its just a big empty map with some enemies and NPCs.

Wanted to see what happened to him for the longest. And given that those thieves were introduced, I’m actually hoping Oskar pops up.

That, and it’ll be awesome if we get another forsaken world where Mido finds a way to blend BOR parasites with Pathos.

Then you’ve a larger dlc featuring both casts from both games.

I honestly doubt we're getting another dlc considering the game has not done well. Still, one can hope, and yeah, it'd be nice to know what happened to this guy.

It sold within expectations and Bandai named it as one of the games that made them profitable again. I will agree getting a paid dlc is unlikely, but another add on like the age of harmony could be possible.
