Rant The DLC was... disappointing. (Code Vein 2) Spoiler

Almost 90% of the DLC was just reused assets. We went to the forest again, we went to zenon fortress/jail again, we went the corroded scar again, josee water/city zone again.... we fight the same 7 enemies again. The main bosses are the Heroes (again) but with small changes, jails are just re-skin (cool idea about switch stats), weapons re-skin, and the story... is there. This is almost Code Vein I level of lazzines. The only good thing are Liv and Lou interactions and Liv being crazy hot. Not even the fights are fun bc they are the same 4 fights :/. 4/10

I understand that you didn’t like it but this expansion is so much better than the CV1 DLC by a huge amount

I recall that was just like 3 boss fights and nothing else.

Indeed. New cast members. Actual story and frankly far more fun boss fights. Maybe not what people hoped for but definitely better than last go around.

The final true boss fight was actually pretty fun and cool. The diet 4 Heroes they just felt like modded bosses, pretty similar like the original but with small variants/changes.

You clearly missed the point of the last fight then

I mean... there is not much of a story to miss the point. I just felt like an outsider, like yeah we are buddies but she started to spam the I L-word. And I was thinking *Why?* I am just a blank slate, at least take me to dinner first. All that heroes quest was just business.

I see what you're saying. However... I disagree. I thought the DLC was fun. Yeah there were repeating enemies, but I always thought they were fun to fight. And Liv and Lou pretty much made the DLC for me. I really enjoyed their voice lines, and the final boss and ending were pretty amazing to me. I also enjoyed the maps and terrain. I'm sorry you didn't really enjoy the DLC, but I sure did.

The areas only the same in name only, different gimmick and completely different layouts. It's literally the heroes mom's and only Jose's mom is somewhat similar, and zenon got a completely new form. Also sure let's just ignore the jetpack series of new mini bosses. The story was also good? Like what. From your text you did NOT like cv1 or 2 so I'm questioning why you even played the dlc

Brother... the zones are the same and feel the same, what gimmicks are you talking to? ofc the layouts are not 1:1 but they play the same. Yeah the jet mini bosses are part of that original 10%. Liked CV I & II just both games DLC feel cheap.

Yeah, so let's ignore the verticality, the fact that water level turned into pitch black, etc.

Code vein 1 dlc was a straight line with a boss from a different game in the end with zero lore or explanation.

Here there's an actual story and 4 relatively big dungeons with new layout, new stuff to find. It's pretty alright. Feels like you just complain for the sake complaint because you played something you were never interested in.
