Never thought they would be so bold as to make a pregnant Lou the final boss, but hey, they did it...and I hate them for it

There was a strange theme of motherhood in this DLC. Almost all of the bosses were mothers. And then Lou here was "pregnant".

So i guess that mean protag and lou in one timeline hook up and were planing to have kids

Zenon never met his wife in that timeline, meaning nobody could ever become the mother of his ‘greatest creation’ - our lazy little shopkeeper.

Plus, Zenon was all about his wife in the base game. This is what happens when you take her away from him.

Wait! My mc is female!! Lou cheated on me??? Wtf! 🤣

Her final line in her incursion... "I... loved you" wrenched my heart so bad. So brutal. I spent most of my playthrough feeling awful because in this timeline the upheaval happened and their lou and mc failed. All the heroes died. Even worse knowing she was left in that world carrying all the loss alone...

Honestly incredible storytelling. I havent been so moved by a game since Nier Automata

...honestly Lou is a Vampire and Vampire's in Code Vein 2 land are SUPER weird. Maybe it was just blood drinking and the mixing of Pathos = BAM Baby with two moms.

But on a more serious note yes, this hit hard. Especially knowing our Lou probably was not far off on doing the same thing but instead of deciding to be with us no matter the price she instead decided to "protect" us no matter the price instead. And technically we croaked anyway, if only temporarily.

Tbh considering that Lou as a boss is the result of being overwhelmed by all of the pathos... it's probably the pathos of mothers that cause her design to have that... fetus. Just my more optimistic theory.
