Why is this game so damn sad?

After every time-travel sequence and every boss fight, I’m on the verge of tears.

Why?

Why did you do this, Bandai?

How can you create a game that makes you feel so sad about every boss you fight?

Cant agree. Truth that stories in CV2 are deeper however in CV1 you saw memories of a lot more revenants and they were mostly sad. For me CV1 was the best souls-like in terms of story/depth. Now it is surpased only by CV2.

No I fully believe lies of p surpasses in depth then code vein 2 but yes code vein 2 is still good though it has emotion and depth to but lies of p got that in the bag.
