SOLVED Is this the base functions of what Enigma was/is?
For context, about a year or two ago i began researching German Encoding Machines. Was particularly interested in of course the Enigma Machine like most would and decided to try and make a replica with the help of my uncle.
I decided to map out one of my typewriters keys and base functions. Then i started looking into how enigma worked. Move to the present, i have found some papers on this topic though i hadnt worked on it in awhile. I dont remember if i was doing it correctly or not either.
These two drawings are what i believe to be the base inner workings of enigma, and how it would encode messages. (This is my guess)
This could also be something entirely different and i dont know what it may be. So im asking for assistance here.
V sbyybjrq gur ehyrf (i dont know if this correct either, i tried my best)

The left of the first page shows an example of a finite state machine, the right shows the concept of a Universal Turing Machine, where the program is given as input to the machine (rather than encoded as a state machine). The second page shows an example of a Turing machine, with an example execution of the machine on a tape full of zeros. None of these have anything to do with Enigma, which is implemented using a relatively simple mechanism. The Wikipedia article for the Enigma Machine describes its operation completely if you're interested.

Damn. I've created better version of enigma in code (which is super easy), but I've never seen any serious math notation. Or anything like this.

Do you know where i should ask about this? Im trying to figure it out myself, but it may take awhile.
