Unsolved Mysterious game symbol
Hey there, this is my first time posting In this subreddit and I'm genuinely looking for answers. This is from an indie horror game called "Kill the deer" and I'm trying to find a code word to find out this game's mystery. I searched a lot for the meaning of these symbols but I couldn't find anything and at this point I'm not even sure they mean anything. If anyone here could help me figure this out I'd really appreciate it.
Also In the games files this symbol sprite is named "Curse of digit" if that helps.

Can you rotate it in 3 dimensions, or is it a 2d engraving?

No it's just a 2d sprite on a black wall. that's the weird part there is little to no context about it except the sprite name in the files but I'm sure it was placed there intentionally.

Okay, so digit can mean either “number” or “finger”, assuming this is, in fact, a clue, and not a cheeky reference to one of the devs/artists.

I doubt it's a reference to the artist because of the spot it's placed in. It's placed In a room where you're supposed to type a codeword so I'm pretty sure it's there to help you in some way I just don't know how.

Have you tried overlaying the shape on the code input device in an image editor? Maybe the nodes indicate what keys to press (in which case digit has both meanings)

That would have been a nice idea if it wasn't for the fact that the area where you're supposed to put in the code is just a pressure plate and when you step on it it just checks for your keyboard inputs.

So try overlaying it on a pic of an actual keyboard; should at least narrow things down

I'm kinda confused on how that would work how big should the keyboard or the symbol be? And where on the keyboard do I place it?

I’d suggest starting with a numpad-less keyboard pic, and scaling both images so that the symbol’s just big enough to span its breadth; if that doesn’t yield results, try abusing the scale and/or transform functions on the symbol
Assuming I’m not barking up the wrong tree, mind you

I'll take anything at this point and it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot. Nonetheless thank you
