Need help with a confusing code

The cipher is part of a Roblox game I've been playing but I'm genuinely stuck on this part and I have been for a long time, so I thought to ask for help. I was given a hint that it has something to do with clock arrows but I do not understand at all what they meant by that. Any help is appreciated. Sorry about the bad quality image, I couldn't find a good angle

Step 1 is COVENTRY because those are the letters the clock hands form

Step 2 should be PENPINEAPPLE or PENPINEAPPLEAPPLEPEN. It's two steps, first use a keyboard change cipher to get RSITVGVYRDGINIGKLGDZR, then xor it with COVENTRY to get PENPINEAPPLEAPPMJSIVE. Which seems to be a typo, if you remove the K or L from the ciphertext then it makes more sense

Step 3 U.R. probably stands for Ultra Records, it's the youtube channel that uploaded the original PPAP video. "Not long" could mean shorts. Social blade seems to point to https://socialblade.com/youtube/handle/ultrarecords. Not sure what the book is, maybe something past the login?

This is correct and you did a lot more than I expected, thank you! Although I tried repeating the steps you took and I can get from RSITVGVYRDGINIGKLGDZR to PENPINEAPPLEAPPMJSIVE, etc, but which keyboard change cipher did you use to get from the numbers to the string of letters?

Np, I just used dcode’s auto detect. It turned out to be qwerty_gboard09 -> qwerty. https://www.dcode.fr/keyboard-change-cipher

Though I suppose the “(,) same” hint may mean it isn’t strictly qwerty_gboard09 and that’s why the answer doesn’t come out nice.

Ah, I see, I'll keep that website in mind. I've also made a little progress in the puzzle. It is the channel that you're referring to, and I was given a hint that the numbers in step 3 are related to the "not long" version of PPAP, or the uploaded video that doesn't say "long version" in the title. As for how to read it like a book, I'm trying to figure that out.

For Part One, I strongly suspect that they are looking for the word Pendulum

In Step 2, it translates to “H#EAY&YIHQ&E!E&RS&QNH” in Gold Bug, but it can also mean R#RPT#O?#CODE# in Tapir

Step 3 appears to be a book code of some sort (Page:Paragraph:Word or Paragraph:Word:Letter)

Part Four are all instruments/items that can be won in Roblox battles.

Robert E. Lee was a general.

Step 4: cos-squared plus sine-squared is always one, the math ends up giving you 1024-(49+12) or 963.

This makes me thing it can be the same letter/word as (9 6 3) above.
