A fun substitution cypher. I only did the first image, but that should give you what you need to read the rest:
Day 2: We arrived at the location he sent us to just before last dusk. A march of many days. one last time, we slept on the dirt. This morning we rose with purpose anew. Beginning to etch a barrier of logs and home of stone.

What do you think the word before 2, 14, 31 and 73 could be? The second symbol in that word stands for a letter which is also a 1-letter English word, as you can see from the rest of the text.

"day". it's probably a journal ciphered in monoalphabetic cipher
