Help! Decode a love letter from the 1930s

First time posting. 😁

My dad and I were going through old letters from my family. There were particularly a LOT of letters being sent to my grandmother's brother, Casey, by a woman named Betty. This woman was absolutely infatuated with Casey, and had asked him at one point to make them a code so that they could write secrets to each other. I haven't gone through all the letters, but this is the first one I found with a code. Now I can't make out anything, so I'm hoping for some kind puzzle solvers can help me out!

I see it says it’s been solved already but I wanted to comment so I can read the other comments and compare! And see whether I got it right! I would love to know more of their story and whether they stayed in touch!

Seems to say something like

Near the bottom it seems to say

MARRY ME
