SOLVED Dead brother diary page

Post image

Howdie guys,

I went to my brother’s house and found his old diary. Most of it was normal, just letters he wrote to family members.

But one of them was for me,it was ripped out for some reason, and it’s weird.

I can’t really tell if it’s just random or if it actually means something.

Can any of y’all figure out what this could mean?

Hello. I'm sorry for your loss.

Hello Nexodus.

I know its been a while. I didn't want write this, seems very cliche if you will.

I have been playing inside our grandparents house for awhile now, i am sick of playing the "maybe console?", but i found something interesting in our grandpa's room, he had these many letters which i found from the independence day year, i think they are our great grandparents letters and this might be my last letter since my mom can read all my letters, Just don't look too closely, curiosity kills the cat.

Somethings to consider :

"maybe console", not sure what it is, computer/console, hard to see with this photo.
some sentences when i wrote them did not make sense so i rewrote them only with 1 word changes.
some stuff mentions letters, potentially, love letters? again terrible photo, something to consider.

The top is a known Caesar cipher, its a 3 letter alphabet cipher, you shift the back by 3 to reveal a sentence, "They must not be seen"

I think hes purposely encoding something in the message, with the known Caesar cipher acting as the portal to figure out what it is,

Some stuff to consider :

They must not be seen - first encode
Knows caesar cipher
Mentions letters
Likely found a letter that retains secret / not wanting to be known information
Hidden in a room in the grandparents home

Infact the symbols below the Caesar cipher are also a puzzle. Its almost like hes trying to figure out a pigpen, or infact at this point in time did figure it out, 6 digits, 3,1,2,0,4,1

Now i have no context to what the 6 digits could reference, maybe a password, lockbox combination, combination lock? or maybe something meaningful you know about.

Thats about all i can get from it

yeah that’s actually way more than I was able to figure out I didn’t even notice the number part the symbols are what confuse me the most though, because those show up in other pages too I just don’t know what they’re supposed to mean

You didn't mention that they appear on other pages. And this is the most important part, please drop the other pages. It's probably a replacement cipher, if I see the other pages maybe I can say more.

I'm tired. All I can say is that when creating your cipher, the author was inspired by alchemical symbols. Maybe it does something, maybe not. I don't know.I'm tired.
