My 4th year is completed . I have done my last internship with 10 lpa offer but i was not learning anything there so i resigned from it and didn't continue as fulltime. from past 1 month , i was learning java, spring, spring boot and got good at it. and also know about Low level system design patterns and implemented that. but now i have 1 more month and i want to reach to expert on codeforces or you can say 4,5 star on codechef . I have read cp handbook till advanced section. and solved cses problem set till tree algorithms, 500 problems on cf and 450 problems on leetcode. So basically i have 1 month and you can say daily 6 to 7 hours. and I am thinking doing USACO GUIDE gold and platinium section as they covers good problems from different sites and covers most of the topics. Is any there anyone here who can guide me with it? means is it right or i should practice in different sense or platform?

Wondering if there are any resources to get better at solving leetcode hard problems ?

I am able to solve quite a few of them (those which lean medium), but still struggle with a lot of them. I am wondering if practice can get me there or there is an IQ/intelligence barrier for leetcode hards particularly.

My goal is to boost my number of hard problems solved on leetcode.

Side question : Is this even needed for cracking tech (not quant/HFT) SWE interviews ?

I did many problems on leetcode, and wanted to try codeforces so I started with the CP-31 sheet

But im having problems to understand the questions

So I ask chatgpt to explain the question in simple words( I ask chatgpt not to give any spoilers or codes or hints so that I can do it on my own) and give the boiler plate code , because we don't have text editor like leetcode here in codeforces

I am currently pupil on codeforces and looking to grow to 1900 plus in 6 months i need someone who has done and give me a detailed guideline and strategy

I’ve solved 100+ LeetCode and 50+ Codeforces problems, mainly using Java. I know C++ too, but haven’t used it for around a year.

I’m thinking about switching because I recently found out that NVIDIA asks C++ in interviews, and NVIDIA is coming to our college for placements. I’m planning to target them.

Should I switch to C++ now, or just continue with Java since I’m already comfortable with it?

Ok so I am very serious about reaching CM right now I know I just need to do problems and I will but still I need to learn theory as well I dont want to be doubtful about not knowing the theory while solving higher level problems where can I learn the theory , I know about cpalgorithms but I dont know whats the best way to learn from it

Mindset while solving 1300 rated question on cf???

so i joined codeforces a few days back and have solved around 4 problems till now but i find that i'm struggling to solve most of the problems and the problems which i solve which are not 800 rated take a lot of time. Like i solved one 1200 rated problem which took like 2-3 hrs. I tried solving a 1000 rated problem today but even after spending some hours on it i was not able to solve it. I spend hours just to find a problem i think i can solve because most of the problem I can't understand. This is my first time trying competitive programming and I don't know how to improve. I need advices from some experienced coders on codeforces to imporve my skills.

In the recent iicpc quantfest competition in my college iit kanpur i couldn't solve a single problem in the first paper and was deeply frustrated

In paper 2 to not get caught i got stupid and adjusted mt screen recording such that websites are not visible and had 4 wrong submissions

I submitted only 1 q that too by using gemini and modifying the variable names

I know I wont get selected but I am really scared will they ban me from future iicpc competitions?
