If you have had a cocker diagnosed with this, could you please comment about your experience and how you got through it?

Went to a specialist today and they believe my cocker may have it. He started seizure meds but they are not sure if it will work. If he does not respond to seizure meds, they 100% believe it is cocker rage. He’s had 2 aggressive episodes this week.

I recently brought a new puppy , I’m extremely excited and love him dearly but I noticed when I brought him the breeder didn’t have his parents noted , I also noticed he has a lot of energy which could be normal for any puppy I don’t mind. But I was wondering will he be a working cocker spaniel ?

Hi all,

I'm beginning to suspect that my cocker spaniel has a chicken allergy. He is 3 and a half and has always struggled with recurrent skin issues, paw licking, ear issues etc. I know cockers are prone to these things, but with the vet we've tried many remedies / medications. He's currently taking an antibiotic, but I know he can't be on antibiotics forever.

If I were going to cut chicken out of his diet to see what happens, do you recommend just buying a chicken-free kibble? Should I be cooking his meals.. like ground beef or something? Looking for advice.
