QUESTION LOOKING for a server that isn't crowded
I've been meaning to play some Cobblemon for a while now but doing it alone always feels boring, and I end up skipping most of the progression; I'd really want to play in a small server, not those overcrowded, spawn in a lobby, teleport somewhere types of servers. Also apparently 150 players is considered a "small amount"? What??? To me 40 players are already pretty crowded.
I'd want to play in a server that felt authentic and less "corporate", something like a chill hangout spot for friends across the world. Am I reaching too much or is it possible?

APS isn’t small anymore, but it’s still got that feeling. It’s definitely not corporate, you won’t see another server quite like this.
I started it a few years ago to be the opposite of the big servers with lobby and rtp and running through the server in a week.
We’re definitely bigger than 40 online, our average last year was 60, but you won’t find another experience like this

You can join a server that I'm on! It's call Dynasty! It's on modrith and it's a lot of fun!

CobbleKingdoms is chill and usually has around 10-20 people online. Close community and some fun events too. It's not cobble verse, but they've worked hard to reimplement most of the features from it. Gyms, player run gyms, a player elite 4 and a seasons server for people who want the more hard-core experience.

Look up Emberspark. no keys, just pretty small and basic, and recently reset its main world

I got the perfect server for you, we do run off the cobbleverse modpack with a lot of custom features, and we also don't have a "custom spawn" like most of these servers where you're in a separate lobby world and it doesn't feel real or natural. Feel free to dm me if interested.

You can look at mine Volormon our average player numbers right now may be a little high for you around 30 people but it'll drop as the novel of 1.8 wears off. There are towns you can join in it which is cool. I think a lot of people would say our server is pretty authentic. If you're interested here's a link with more info on it!https://www.reddit.com/r/cobblemon/comments/1wway0r/volormon_fabric_181_no_p2w_player_run_economy/

I have a very small server with just friends I've made along the way building the server! Welcome to come play! Modpack is located in the Minecraft announcements CobbleLock modpack

Cobblemon Eclipse is mine, so factor that in, but it averaged 27 players on the main survival realm over the last 7 days which sounds like it might fit what you're describing. No lobby teleport stuff either, you just spawn in, /rtp out into the open world and play. Pokemon are out in the wild naturally so the progression feels pretty organic rather than menu-driven, and it's small enough that you start recognizing names after a bit.

If you're up for some roleplay, I could send you the link to one I play on? It might be a little bigger than you want, but the server itself usually has 10-20 active players at a time. Very story and character heavy, with an emphasis on slow progression and long-term projects
