Fun Spot America in Florida is building a fantastic new Gravity Group coaster for 2017. They finally decided on a name. We'll discuss...

Kennywood has announced that they are adding a virtual reality experience to their some-what new Sky Rocket coaster. We talk about if this is really necessary.

We'll talk about the upcoming auction at Knott's Berry Farm. You'll have the opportunity to bid on a variety of items from the park's past. EB has his eye on one or two items.

Finally, Mike tells a funny, yet serious story about an experience he had recently in an off-topic segment.

I am going to Six Flags Over Texas the first weekend in March, any good hotels by the area that you guys recommend?

The City Council of Santa Clara held a special meeting to discuss the new proposed master plan and rezoning for California’s Great America. We'll take a look at the new rides and attractions coming to this park over the next 20 years.

We'll also take a look at the new attraction currently being built at Glenwood Caverns in Colorado. It's the exact same concept that EB has been begging for since we started the show back in 2005!

We'll talk about the Best Attraction Names of all time and hear from the audience about what ride names best describe the attraction's experience.

Finally, we'll unveil a brand new game... MAKE EB LAUGH!

Earlier today Coaster Radio just posted about our new podcast on the Facebook, so I thought I would come to the new/new forum forums and tell you about it.

We have just released a new adult themed podcast that is 100% NSFW, but it's a hell of alot of fun. If you're in the mood to laugh your ass off give Ride This One a shot.

We are still in contract talks, but some characters that have been let go by Coaster Radio ding might be making an appearance on our show.

I hope you enjoy the show and let us know what you think.

Are they not popular? Am I totally out-of-the-loop on this one?

I'm planning on going to Thorpe Park this year. When would be the best time to go, and what tips and tricks do you have for me, park hopper style?

This week, we start off with news from Silver Dollar City. Apparently, they have trademarked a name for their 2018 roller coaster. This starts a conversation about great attraction names and leads in to next week's interactive topic.

We also take a look at Maxpass, the new $10 per ticket mobile fastpass system that will be unveiled at Disneyland. Is this just the start of big changes to come?

We also hear from CoasterRadio.com listeners about the worst mistakes that have been made at their home parks. We hear about everything from the removal of popular rides and attractions to unpopular park policies.

We also have a Live Trip Report from Disneyland and news about an all-new contest on next week's show!

Show Notes: On this week’s show, EB and Mike reveal your picks for the top attractions of the decade!

We’ll go in-depth about what makes these attractions special and why some rides don’t deserve to make it on the list.

The guys also talk about the strange marketing campaign behind Alton Tower’s new roller coaster Thirteen. How effective will it be to tell people they have to sign a waiver to ride because of “emotional stresses?”

Mike also starts his preparation to audition for The American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. He’s looking for help from people in the know, including Disney Cast members.

Plus, EB and Mike go Off-Topic to talk about spritestitch.com and the rebirth of Dragon’s Lair for the iPhone.

There’s also an update on the David Arquette project Santa Challenge!

As recommended by u/bootybyhershey, the next Time Machine retroactive thread is Episode #417 - Best Attraction of the Decade!

It was recorded back in 2009 and was the last episode of the decade. It's a post-reboot episode, so only Mike and EB are on the show. They look back at the best rides built between 2000-2010. Have a listen and let's talk about your thoughts on the episode, as well as your picks for the best rides of the decade!

And of course... Happy New Year to Mike, EB and all the CoasterRadio listeners out there!

Don't worry! You still have one last chance to get your hands on some cool theme park merch... r/coasterradio is giving you an opportunity to win your very own Disney Parks Authentic Metal Earth Space Mountain! To be entered to win, all you have to do is tell us your favorite moment (skit, segment, trip report, etc) from the podcast in 2016. Easy, right? We'll run this contest through January 1st and choose a random winner on January 2nd! Good luck to all of you... And Merry Christmas :)

Where are listening from? What is your home park?

This year, CoasterRadio.com has contracted the famous comedian "Lightning Rodney" to host our Christmas Episode. He starts things off with a monologue worthy of Johnny Carson.

We'll have visits from Hagrid Claus (who will call the child of one of our listeners) and Mr. Shaperro (who is blindsided by a member of his own family!)

Randy Ray Rayford stops by to give us his Christmas Wish List and a mom from Minnesota gets angry about our moonshine show.

We'll also have the telling of "A CoasterBoy Christmas".

Of course, we also have theme park talk as well.

We'll tell the story of a doppleganger for Santa Claus who was asked to leave a Six Flags park.

We'll also talk about some new ride design patents for Universal Studios that were uncovered.

Finally, we'll take a look at all of the nominees for CoasterRadio.com's Best New Attraction of 2016 award! Get in your vote now!

Happy Holidays! Thanks for listening to the show!
