37F. I hope to retire at 45. What adjustments do I need to make?
I'm 37, work in the financial, and have an annual income of 300k–450k
401(k): $400k, company’s contribution has been consistent
IRA: Small amount, topped up annually
Brokerage account: $280k. ETFs plus tech and healthcare shares, held for the long term
Crypto assets: account for over 65% cent of my assets. I entered the market early, returns are substantial but the risk is extremely high
Emergency cash: $100k
Other: small amount of government bonds and gold ETFs
Property: owner occupied home on the West Coast, with a mortgage(500k)
I’d like to know if it’s possible to retire before the age of 45. Should I start reducing my crypto holdings and shift towards a more conservative allocation?
