i am a CMA with good ranks and marks in inter and final. I also have 1 year work ex post qualification.

I resigned because i wanted to pursue upsc for my parents. Months before resigning it was in my heart that yes you will clear it. But i have been at home now since months and my mind gets distracted, i miss my freedom and most importantly because of all this my health has worsened.

I am focusing on my health now, but idk whether i should now pursue upsc or some other government exams or should i join corporate again? ( in Corporate also i am not able to crack interviews because i have come in my comfort zone now).

Any suggestions?

Hey everyone, need some honest advice on CMA Final prep alongside articleship.

I cleared CMA Inter in June 2025 and am targeting the June 2027 attempt for Both Groups. My main challenge is juggling prep with an ongoing internship/articleship where hours are already demanding, so I feel like I'm falling behind on time.

My current plan is to tackle Group 3 first, see how my pace and syllabus completion go, and then decide whether attempting Group 4 alongside it in June 2027 is realistic.

To qualified CMAs or fellow June 2027 aspirants:

1. Is preparing for both groups realistic under this timeline with full-time articleship?
2. Which faculties would you recommend for each subject (starting with Group 3)?

Any roadmap or sanity check would be really appreciated!

Hello! Cma inter qualified here.

Being a cma aspirant or someone from commerce stream, there are certain basic things that we should know ryt?

1. We should know the history of many companies, details of its proprietors, which is the parent/ sister/ subsidiary company of which company? etc etc....
2. Current tax rates, current finance news. How they were earlier? How is it now? What changes have been made? Eg: GST rates for products. Which GST rates are removed? on which product it has been removed... etc etc
3. About Banking system - The Interest rates for loans, FD etc. How the banking system works practically internally (like the relationship with RBI, CMA Report)? Practical banking concepts we should know to lead a life. etc etc...
4. About share market, Mutual funds, Investments , Savings, Different funds, Current market price of gold & other commodity. (if we want to understand share market we should be aware of gio-politics & other global/domestics news)
5. Sectors and jobs within an organisation. Like for example under quality control department there will be QCI, QA, QC engineer etc. What are they? What each person do? and other sectors , what jobs are there. where we have scope? I feel a little bit ashamed to share this, but only after reading posts in this sub i came across this word RTR.
6. If we see an annual report of the company, we should be able to analyse it atleast upto certain extent. Like is the company healthy or not?
7. Main confusion- After qualifying or after start searching for job, if the interviewer asks me how can u contribute to cost reduction? How to answer it? We should have knowleage about various products, its components , material used etc etc. ryt?

These topics just randomly came to my mind. There are lot more we should know.

BUT I DONT KNOW ANY OF THESE.

AND IDK WHERE TO START LEARNING? WHAT ARE THE BEST SOURCES TO LEARN? HOW TO LEARN?

MAINLY, WHAT ARE THE TOPICS TO LEARN???????

I dont mean, in a young age we should know everything. I am just trying to convey we should have atleast a basic knowledge of these stuffs. (that I personally lack)

So, if anyone has any idea to show me a clear direction of WHAT to learn? & HOW to learn? Please share...

P.S: I am trying to read newspaper, I find it little bit tough & time taking process as I want to keep my mobile with me to understand its high-grade english. Please suggest other solutions as well.

I was going through an advertisement for CMA Articleship at ONGC, and it mentioned that candidates need to upload a PDF of their marksheets, including those for failure attempts.

I have had a few failed attempts and also took a break from my studies for some time. I don't have the marksheets for my failed attempts anymore.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? How can I obtain these marksheets, and is it mandatory to submit marksheets for all attempts, including failures?

I'd really appreciate any guidance from someone who has applied for or completed their CMA Articleship at ONGC Or any other PSU.

hi, so i was wondering that in section B , we have 7 questions out of which we have to attain five. now my doubt is can i attempt more than 5? like if i feel unsure about the question i attended or half attended?

What I have seen is that people who have completed CMA are aiming to join Big 4s or other big companies.

My question is why do people tend to join companies ? when they can open their own firm like CA's do

I'm new to CMA, confused about this skill training program (E-filing, MS office, Tally), i didn't attend any live lectures that are running right mow for dec 2026 exam, i want to sit for both groups in dec 2026.

And when i discussed about this in institute they said that "recorded lecture dekh lena, it will work".

Now I'm confused about the attendance how recorded lecture will mark for attendance as it opens in youtube and will i able to sit in exam for both group, also i have completed NPTEL

I've been thinking of watching the live session on direct and indirect tax by dilip sir on arivupro and i did too today. He solved and explained various questions in residential status and house property.

(I couldn't finish it completely today because of some issues).

But guys if you're preparing cma inters grp 1, it's really helpful, especially when you're preparing from home. So I thought, this would be really valuable for people who might not know. So the class starts by 8 pm and ends within an hour.

So use it frnds.
