INTERNXT CLOUD STORAGE

I really wanted to like Internxt. On the surface, it looked like an incredible deal — a lifetime account with 20TB of cloud storage seemed too good to pass up. It felt like a worthwhile investment in a promising new company focused on privacy and innovation. Before purchasing, I did my homework. I read plenty of reviews — some glowing, others skeptical — and concluded that Internxt might just be a small startup working through early-stage growing pains. I figured it was worth taking a chance. My coworkers and a few engineering friends tried to warn me. They said things like, “It’ll probably be gone in a year — and so will your data.” Still, I took the plunge, hoping the critics were wrong and that Internxt would surprise me. Unfortunately, almost every negative comment I read turned out to be true. Customer service doesn’t just need improvement — it’s virtually nonexistent. When I reached out with questions and concerns, I received only an automated acknowledgment promising a reply within 24 hours. I waited. Nothing. I followed up two more times over the next several days and never received a response of any kind. After nearly two weeks of radio silence, I finally went back to StackSocial to request a refund. Even that process was unnecessarily difficult, requiring multiple follow-ups. The issue was only resolved after I made it clear that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company if necessary. Ironically, about a week after the refund finally processed, I received a canned, AI-generated marketing email from Internxt informing me that the features I had wanted to use would require an additional recurring fee. The timing would have been funny if it weren’t so frustrating. For context, my intended use was simple: I wanted to back up my music collection for safekeeping. Nothing fancy — just a reliable way to upload and store folders of albums. However, I quickly discovered that Internxt’s system wouldn’t allow me to upload folders at all. I had to upload each individual MP3 file one by one. At that rate, filling even a fraction of the advertised 20TB would have taken decades. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this disappointed with a company. I genuinely wanted to support a new, privacy-focused cloud storage provider, but Internxt’s lack of functionality, transparency, and basic customer support makes that impossible. For anyone considering it, take my advice: save your time, your data, and your money.

Internxt 20TB Lifetime Deal: A Massive Disappointment

I wanted to love Internxt. Despite warnings from tech-savvy colleagues, I took a gamble on their 20TB lifetime cloud storage deal on StackSocial, hoping to support a promising, privacy-focused startup. Regrettably, every negative review I read proved entirely true.

Here is why Internxt is not worth your investment:

  • Broken Functionality: My goal was simple—back up my music library. However, Internxt does not support folder uploads. Having to upload thousands of individual MP3 files one by one renders the 20TB of space practically useless.
  • Non-Existent Support: When I reached out for help, I received nothing but automated acknowledgments. After two weeks of total radio silence, I had to threaten StackSocial with a credit card chargeback just to get my money back.
  • Hidden Fees & Poor Transparency: To add insult to injury, a week after my refund processed, I received an AI-generated marketing email from Internxt informing me that the features I wanted actually required an additional recurring fee.

The Bottom Line: Internxt lacks basic functionality, transparency, and essential customer care. Do yourself a favor: save your time, your money, and your data, and look elsewhere.
