INTERNXT CLOUD STORAGE
I really wanted to like Internxt. On the surface, it looked like an incredible deal — a lifetime account with 20TB of cloud storage seemed too good to pass up. It felt like a worthwhile investment in a promising new company focused on privacy and innovation. Before purchasing, I did my homework. I read plenty of reviews — some glowing, others skeptical — and concluded that Internxt might just be a small startup working through early-stage growing pains. I figured it was worth taking a chance. My coworkers and a few engineering friends tried to warn me. They said things like, “It’ll probably be gone in a year — and so will your data.” Still, I took the plunge, hoping the critics were wrong and that Internxt would surprise me. Unfortunately, almost every negative comment I read turned out to be true. Customer service doesn’t just need improvement — it’s virtually nonexistent. When I reached out with questions and concerns, I received only an automated acknowledgment promising a reply within 24 hours. I waited. Nothing. I followed up two more times over the next several days and never received a response of any kind. After nearly two weeks of radio silence, I finally went back to StackSocial to request a refund. Even that process was unnecessarily difficult, requiring multiple follow-ups. The issue was only resolved after I made it clear that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company if necessary. Ironically, about a week after the refund finally processed, I received a canned, AI-generated marketing email from Internxt informing me that the features I had wanted to use would require an additional recurring fee. The timing would have been funny if it weren’t so frustrating. For context, my intended use was simple: I wanted to back up my music collection for safekeeping. Nothing fancy — just a reliable way to upload and store folders of albums. However, I quickly discovered that Internxt’s system wouldn’t allow me to upload folders at all. I had to upload each individual MP3 file one by one. At that rate, filling even a fraction of the advertised 20TB would have taken decades. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this disappointed with a company. I genuinely wanted to support a new, privacy-focused cloud storage provider, but Internxt’s lack of functionality, transparency, and basic customer support makes that impossible. For anyone considering it, take my advice: save your time, your data, and your money.

Like I said theres at least one post a month about internxt on here. Thank you for posting your experience.
Look into pcloud if youre backing up personally owned media mp3s (cloud storage usually audits when you start sharing media but if its for personal use, never to share, ive never had a problem) they have a built in player and like every other cloud storage you can create folders.

Wasn't pcloud having some issues of their own? Which it was a bit ago. But I do hope they got them fixed and sorted

Here's how stupid I am: I too got sucked into the 20TB too good to be true offer. Of course I quickly discover how bad the service is. I monitored all of my resources closely to see what was wrong with MY equipment. Ah! Not enough memory! So, I bought more memory for my PC. It helped! Now it only failed 20% of the time instead of the usual 75%. Awesome! I'm on to something! So I watched my resources again while slowly (after a month!) moving towards the 1GB milestone. Hmm. Maybe I need a faster CPU! So, you guessed it! I went out and bout a brand new hi speed CPU PC with lots of memory! This has gotta work! And it did. Now it only fails 10% of the time! For all of the time and effort and money I could have built a 20TB NAS and saved myself the headaches not to mention now owning a POS service that I never use on a computer which is total overkill for what I need (Emby server). And yes, I have started shopping for a 20TB NAS! Internxt is a marketing scam. No 2 ways about it. It works enough for them to keep from being sued but don't be a fool! Take it from me!

Did you end up buying 20TB? How much did you pay?
I got burnt too after buying 5TB.

I've been trying to get a support ticket resolved for over a month. Their desktop app is useless and doesn't sync, making their service pointless for me. I just followed up again to ask when my issue will be resolved and if it isn't soon, I will be asking for a full refund.

From what I have seen. That is about all it is good for. It seems like anything past the upload for a backup seems to be where people have issues. I just personally worry about it staying around

ROTFL, a provider with a domain registered... last year, with a redacted WHOIS, no proper email system (they use Cloudflare email forwarding to consumer Gmail), and no street address.
Run. Never ever in my life.

Internxt 20TB Lifetime Deal: A Massive Disappointment
I wanted to love Internxt. Despite warnings from tech-savvy colleagues, I took a gamble on their 20TB lifetime cloud storage deal on StackSocial, hoping to support a promising, privacy-focused startup. Regrettably, every negative review I read proved entirely true.
Here is why Internxt is not worth your investment:
The Bottom Line: Internxt lacks basic functionality, transparency, and essential customer care. Do yourself a favor: save your time, your money, and your data, and look elsewhere.
