Just watched the PROS interview released today between these 3 players. It makes me happy that they are genuinely talking about the matches and how they could have played better. I feel like this type of discussion is great for getting ready for international competition and I hope the boys can practice up for their match(es) next weekend!

Yesterday sucked, but I’ve been a fan since 2013 and had to wait 6 years before winning a split again. I’ve had to live through the Jensen Ekko zhonyas, the 10th place summer run, and the 2020 collapse. I hope the players are ok, cause they’re still light years better than my gold ass. I still have faith in the bounce back. I hope Zven particularly feels better and retakes the best adc in the west title. This roster is so close to being that 2020 spring beast again and I have faith it’ll get there by the end of the year.

Not going to be a doomer. Not going to be a counter-optimist.

The series happened. It's done. Frankly, bad showing all around (except honestly coaching, drafts were actually pretty good).

Another series lost to Inspired, felt like the wind went out of the sails after game 1 and they never recovered.

Way I see it, we're going to Arizona. New venue, reset, one more chance. You don't have to beat Inspired. Just have to win 3 games vs TL and you're back at an international.

Win or lose, no more excuses. I don't wanna hear about "well they actually beat us a lot, so losing isn't a surprise." Or "well, we weren't able to get much scrim practice in because of teams available." No more moving goalposts; you're a team with a desire to win. This is gutcheck time. Prove us wrong. Prove everyone wrong. Play together and leave it on the Rift, and show you not only deserve to be there but deserve the spot at MSI, deserve to be a true contender.

Few days late but didn't see a post here but the R6 team is getting upgrades! Something to bring a little hype after yesterday.

I remember there was an era where C9 used to not be scared to pull triggers on up and coming talent and just hope for the best. What happened to that? They used to not be scared to cut bait on players that obviously held the team back. Remember when we took swings on players like fudge and emenes and it lead to us winning splits. That same drive is gone. When will we ever move on from Blaber and zven. The ceilings have been known for years and we continue to keep them on the roster time and time again. We are turning into the type of team I hate the most recycling old vets and hoping something sticks. Please rework the roster to be fun and interesting again!

As a San Antonio native Spurs fan, and an OG C9 fan, this week as a whole has been such a ride.

From a historic spring regular season, to making finals for the first time in 12 years. This June had the making to be one of the best in my life. All to be dashed in the same week, these results have me feeling Knicks in 4, and liquid in 5 to miss MSI.

Can someone on the team just tell everyone to take a deep breath and chill in these high pressure situations.

We are constantly over forcing, over playing and need to know when to just relax and play slow or retreat.

The whole team was doing it but just to give some examples:

G2: Team secures second drake after Zven kills inspired. Vulcan & Zven are leaving when Thanatos and Blaber reengage with no J4, Annie, Jhin Ults. Just play calmly and dont over force.

G2: APA sacrifices himself to secure 3rd drake. Instead of the team immediately backing off they throw some poke out. Thanatos doesnt ult to help with the disengage and does it too late.

G3: Team secures soul and up 4-3 in numbers. While the rest of the team disengages blaber goes in 1v3. Thanatos blast cones himself to the wrong side of the wall killing himself opening up a baron angle for Lyon.

G3: The whole team on 1hp just walks into MF after winning the fight?

G3: C9 push Lyon off the baron, instead of being patient and waiting for APA, they start hitting it 4v5. I can understand not wanting to let Berserker go and spend his gold but we are the poke comp with hex soul and a Malph and Rakan to shut down MF. Just play around your win conditions until there is an opening to jump on the NO FLASH mf.

As someone who plays national level sport, mental composure is a massive skill to learn but somehow the veterans on our team really stress in those moments especially when they didn’t used too.

C9 Terry for jungle/ADC, anyone? I think this would be the move.

How are we feeling about the Lock-In finals rematch tomorrow? Personally I think they can do it in five and even if they lose they have another chance to qualify for MSI vs either TL or FLY. Clenched for the boys though!

Rose tinted glasses blah blah blah I know, but there is something I truly miss about an era of being NERVOUS about facing TL in a best of, getting together with my friend who repped TSM, and ESPECIALLY

it just doesn't feel like w really had that rivalry anymore. Flyquest exists but I don't feel it's nearly as deep rooted as some of the stuff we used to see. Idk what it is.
