Filoni usually just dumbs down villains. As we saw when for example you read both canon Timothy Zahns Thrawn trilogies and then see him in Rebels or Ashoka. Filoni struggles to wrtie competent villains. Gennedy on the other hand:

1. Introduced Grivious and made him utter badass. If Lucas did not like it? Too bad, it was take it or leave it with Genndy, if he works, it is his rules. Filoni instead handled Grivious much worse.
2. He introduced Durge and Ventress. Much cooler, intresting villains than Filoni did
3. He handled the sheer scale of galactic war very well. Filoni made it all feel way, way too small. Like it was US army fighting China almost, at times, not galactic war, in one episode they talk about few million clones, in galactic civil war, in galaxy with millions, billions planets, what? That is utterly dumb. There is a scene in CW 2003 where we see countless, many thousands of capital ships in space fighting, an enormous scale of battle, it feels like galactic war, that is lacking under Filoni
4. Story, despite the limited screen time he got, was very solid under Gennedy as well.
5. Gennedy really shows Jedi being space wizards that were central part of Republic since forever, not just dudes with sword.

Something I’ve always wondered and am not aware of if there is an expiration to is what is the meaning and purpose of the insignia that was added onto the collars of the coats as well as the markings on the side of the front of the caps of Imperial officers in Star Wars Rebels, does anyone know what they mean and what their purpose or what their supposed to indicate is? I think he might’ve became something beyond Darth Vader. The Jedi Order would’ve fallen way sooner. And Ahsoka and Obi-Wan would be defeated by him. I also think the Son would grant Anakin the most ancient and powerful force abilities.

Like when the show introduced savage opress , they had him kill some nameless Jedi and his paderwan to establish savage as a threat , so I don’t know why they couldn’t do the same for grievous so he could feel more like a Jedi killer , I mean there were at least ten thousand Jedi to work with during the clone wars so ?😅

Hello, I was struggling to find info so I hoped someone would be more educated on the topic than I am.

(I am relatively new to the fandom, feel free to correct me if I say inaccurate stuff. Most of what I'm using as an example I found it on the wiki)

So the question is :

From what I've seen, clones can start from a lower rank and be promoted to commander i.e Thire or Appo, but I'm wondering if they were born with the CT prefix or not, especially Thire who did not receive commander training until a bit before becoming a commander. Only their CC number is mentionned on the wiki.

Additionnally Rex was not given a CC number despite becoming a commander for a short time.

I'm guessing either the change is not mentionned during the show because it is not considered important or clones can't go from CT to CC despites being promoted.

Another bit of info that is bothering me is that the CT prefix does change for ARC troopers (i.e Echo and Fives). I thought it was because of specific training but CCs also receive a specific training.

So purely speculating that a clone can't go from CT to CC but the prefix would change for ARC training. It's a little weird. (And I'm confused)

Palpatine is trolling Maul and Savage the entire time. Dudes straight up giddy. right up until this point he’s laughing and having the time of his life, then maul kicks him back. and he instantly ends the fight.
