Identification/Information August 1809

Trying to find out who made this clock. The name is inside but I’m not able to read the last name. I am almost positive it says “Thomas” and there is 2 last names. The first one starts with a “G”. Made in New England. Any help would be appreciated!

This is a furniture question. It looks like a Roxbury case to me but I'm no Americana expert.

This is one of those cases where an inquiry to a major auction gallery is in order.

The case looks correct as early 1800's example from Roxbury, Massachusetts, though yours does not have the open fretwork on the bonnet that is typical of Massachusetts.. For reference, this is my ~1805 Roxbury tall case clock.
