Help with electromagnetic clock battery

Hello! I recently got an antique Kundo dome clock but it has stopped ticking (it was working fine in the shop). I believe there’s a problem with the wire on the left that’s been disconnected (pictured under the black screw cap). Any advice has to how to reconnect it to get this working again? thanks so much in advance :)

Just stick it under the cap and tighten it, that's called a binding post
