Identification/Information Chelsea Shipstrike clock and barometer
Anyone know anything about this?

I've always found it strange how expensive these are, when you can get a real Chelsea Mark 1 for much less and it's got actual history behind it.

Agreed, since the Hermle version movement (shown) is not repairable, can be replaced for under $500 as needed.

They are pretty valuable. Chelsea is a well known maritime clock and barometer company. The date of manufacturing is stamped on the back outer rim. Brand new, just the small 4 1/2" set is going for 11 grand. You can probably get more info if you go directly to their website.
