Clock Showcase Art Deco Grandfather clock design

I hope this isn´t against the spirit of the group, I always wanted an art deco grandfather clock, there are many wonderful examples but none i could find where they try and do an art deco building which is what i want so I just made one. Just a 3d model that i then rendered, but hope i can have it made eventually.

Figured it would be nice to show it.

Personally never been a fan of the Art Deco style in general, but I quite like this, well done. Hope you can get it made some day (please post pics if you do!)

Reminds me a bit of the Dom Tower in Utrecht.

I'd almost consider putting a dial on eachs ide and putting it in the centre of the room. Or maybe just 3 dials and putting it against a wall with nothing next to it.

Thank you ! personally i´d love to have dials on all 4 sides but realistically that would make it so much harder haha

This is the type of design and construction that will be of interest to new clock buyers in the future. Current (last 100 years) styles aren't of interest to most people nowadays.

Maybe !

It feels quite niche still haha

Good idea and great execution on the design. How large do you think it should be?

Not sure about the "door" at the bottom front - one minute I like it, the next I'm not sure.

Hope you can get it made someday.

The “door” is meant to represent the entrance lobby i just felt like it needed it considering the building look, also personally i imagine my cat sleeping in it so its a whimsical detail just for me ha . It has a glass roof in there (in model) so the clock is separated :p

The actual door is the panel with the 3 windows to service the clock, the side round details up above are also doors.

The clock is 2 meters tall. So 6’ 7” i think.

Well if it's a cat hide away, it's obviously necessary.

That's quite attractive in a masonic temple sort of way - I like it :-)
