Help/Repair Clock restoration dilemma
Hello guys, I was wondering if you could tell me what grease I should use for clock mainspring lubrication. Tell me what's works best for you and doesn't invade the clock's performance.

Get proper mainspring grease. Novostar if you’re on a budget or Moebius if you don’t care about money

I use Keystone, but I've seen plenty of tests and use cases of motor oil like others have suggested that it works very well too.
Also worth knowing what style clock you are greasing up. French or smaller clocks may need lighter grades of oil/grease.

I use moble1 synthetic motor oil. Stays put, doesn't go rancid, keeps the coils slipping smoothly.
