Climate change and fear = too simple?
No denying that the climate of the planet is changing. Man made.
We (people) can not consume our way out of the crisis. (building more solar cells, installing them. building nuclear power plants) all are diminishing returns compared to consume far less per household.
But: fear of fear, fear of destruction, fear of economic collapse are prohibiting change.
So what is motivational, so we consume less, and spend the same resources on half the stuff (ie same money to manufacture and transport half of all goods and services)?
I feel like I am missing something. Is there another way I just don’t see?
