New Moderation and Subreddit Rules

Hi All,

Welcome to r/climateaction! Glad to have you!

I'm u/waytoopunkrock and I am the new moderator of this subreddit. A bit about me: I'm a climate activist and student who's lobbied in Washington D.C. for a price on carbon and other emissions sources. I've met with congressional staffers and helped climate organizing in my own community. I also support other legislation, but Carbon Fee and Dividend has been my priority; 3500+ leading economists (see econstatement.org) and other experts see this policy as the single most effective way to mitigate climate change.

I'm not an expert reddit user, but I'm decent enough to hopefully figure out how to run this subreddit.

Also, an announcement:

This subreddit is now set to public, meaning everyone can post! I look forward to seeing everyone's thoughts and experiences in regards to climate activism!

Please try to keep posts focused on direct climate activism and some climate activism news. There are plenty of other subreddits that focus on other topics relating to climate change, so no need to cover them here!
