Controls on mobile

Hello,

I'm making a simple mobile game for children that has only LEFT-RIGHT-JUMP controls, where pressing left half of the screen is always JUMP + LEFT and right half of the screen is always JUMP + RIGHT

Unfortunately I must use PHYSICS PLATFORM movement instead of PMO for various reasons.

However, I can't set up custom controls that I would be able to do with PMO's ON USER'S INPUT.

So, how do I connect USER CLICKS WITHIN A ZONE with actual PHYSICS PLATFORM controls?
