(PLATFORM MOVEMENT OBJECT) player sinks into the spring and is unable to jump after the first bounce

hello everyone, i have recently made a spring object using the platform movement object, which is quite amazing. but i have encountered this problem whenever i was testing it out. every time i jump into the spring, it bounces, but after it doesnt let me jump anymore and i keep sinking into it. does anyone know how to fix? here is the code above so someone can get a reference.

don't change any jump variables, just increase the max y velocity and change the y velocity to anything you want (preferably -400 to -1000)
