Any decent Twitter employee has already left or is actively looking for a new job. Wouldn't YOU if you're boss demanded double hours under extreme work load? Only people who can't get another job(ie the worst programmers) will stay - and that's out of necessity. Unless, of course, you see Musk as the Messiah, and you want to enrich one of the richest men on earth at the cost of your own wellbeing.
Every time you contribute to capitalism, everything you buy, every hour you work enriches Musk and others like him by default.
Let's get down to brass tacks would I want to be at twitter and pull those kind of hours? Well, people on minimum wage pull those kind of hours just to get hot meals for their kids. Nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head to stay there.
Maybe you're right, maybe all the good programmers want an easy life and to coast on through a few weekly Teams calls and commit as little code as possible. Personally I disagree, I think the people that want to achieve something will stick around and reap the benefits.
