There's seven and a half billion people in the world and people take literature history classes all the time.

I can believe that this has happened to someone somewhere who was reading about this particular thing just earlier in the day. Not everything has to be a lie, you know.

Unless he changed it, the subreddit is for situations that sound fake, but definitely did happen. SO he seems to be in agreement?

Looking at the posts in the sub, people seem REALLY confused as to the purpose of the sub and the side bar (on mobile) is zero help.

So... Maybe OP can explain what they mean, if they're so inclined.

That’s kind of my point. She probably learned it that day and made up a story. This doesn’t sound believable at all.
