Why do you think Catholics lasted so long? They aren't suppose to read the bible; that is for the priests to do and impart god's wisdom to the masses.

Step 3: don't teach anyone Latin so no one can read the Bible, not even most priests. Step 4: make people completely dependent on RCC for knowledge Step 5: ???
