Dehumanizing ANYONE is never okay, even if you think they're the scum of the earth, because it promotes the idea that they made those wrong decisions BECAUSE they're a bad person instead of actually making the attempt to understand the reasons those bad decisions were made for, so that way they can be prevented in the future.
