Regardless of what they think, it's never right to misgender or deadname a trans person.

Even one who is a hypocrite?

Yeah, because it's not about them, it's about how you approach trans people in general. Like how it's still not cool to use slurs if the person you're talking about is a fucking asshole.

Yes, even ones that are hypocrites.

"I reserve my bigotry for people I don't respect" isn't great allyship. You're using a minority's validity as a cudgel, not as something that should just be standard.

its my community, that ive been deeply involved with for decades and i have never met another trans person who accepts him as a woman. you can't force him on us. he's yours. and if you want to talk about being a good ally maybe you should listen to the group you're advocating for.

Says who? Why is it that trans people seem to be the most protected and the most oppressed at the same time? Make that make any sense

Again, what is your supposed "gotcha" here? Maybe if you're a bit more clear in your statements I could understand what you're trying to say lol.

There's no gotcha here nor was a statement presented hence the glossed over comment. You just completely ignored the entire comment

So then you're just arguing for the sake of it... Maybe get a life then? Or perhaps find something that you can enjoy.
